DEVELOPMENT VISION

Plans are progressing for the expansion of Currrambine Marketplace.  It is intended to be expanded over time to provide residents of Perth’s north-west community with more diverse shopping services and experiences.

The expansion will be undertaken within a number of precincts, each designed to have its own unique attributes, yet contributing to a co-ordinated and cohesive overall concept.

The “fundamentals” of the expansion plan for the Centre include:

• Maintaining a very high level of convenience for customers, especially in relation to on-grade car parking and egress/ingress to Marmion Avenue and Shenton Avenue;

• Creating a point of difference to other retail centres in the greater trade area;

• Ensuring efficient and clear traffic flow around the Centre, including pedestrian and disabled access;

• Anchoring each new precinct with a leading retailer and/or a number complimentary retail offers, to drive customer traffic and maximise sustainability;  and

• Connecting the Centre to its primary and key trade areas (Iluka, Burns Beach and Ocean Reef and up to Brighton) through the provision of high quality landscaping and public common areas.
